I am surrounded by Tawny Owls at home and I just love them. I found a couple of feathers on a walk and I noticed how beautiful the markings of creams and tans were, the owl itself is smaller than I realised, the size of a wood pigeon, but much fluffier which adds to its charm. This original artwork is inspired by the countryside and nature of the forest of Bowland depicting a Tawny Owl sitting on a rustic post watching over a field of grasses in soft natural colours.
